Many Business Central users would greatly appreciate the ability to preview sales invoices and delivery notes before posting, either as a PDF or in the final document layout. The current “Test Report” feature is not sufficient for practical needs, as it does not show the actual document layout. A true preview would help prevent errors, avoid incorrect postings, ensure document quality, and improve internal control processes.

This feature is frequently requested in forums and support channels. Please consider adding a preview function for sales documents before posting as a standard feature in Business Central—ideally as a PDF or layout preview directly from the sales order.
