Add the ability to use the web client in more than one tab in the browser, at the same time.

Hi Shawn,

Thank you for the suggestion. We have looked into this feature before and the way the HTML client is architected it is not possible to have more than one window open on the web client.

  • Jodi, thank you for reviewing this item. However, I believe that Microsoft should consider changing the architecture of the web client to allow it as this is a key limiting feature preventing many of my clients from implementing the web client.
  • We do get this question asked: "Can I open multiple companies at the same time". The answer is: "Yes, you can, however, it will consume multiple licenses"
It would be great if there was a way of authenticating the user ONCE and let the user then open multiple tabs with multiple companies (color coded).
  • Would that be for the same session (i.e. company) or a different one ?
