At present, inventory reservation on all modules calculate "Physical reserved" as CW unit * Minimum quantity.
But everywhere else physical quantity is calculated as CW unit * Nominal quantity.
Hence reservation cannot be performed for below scenario.

CW unit Box
Phy unit Kg
Unit conversion 1 box = 10 kg
Nominal qty = 10 kg
Min qty = 5 kg
Max qty = 15 kg

Sales order created for 2 box as customer requires 20 kg.
On manual reservation CW unit can only be input and it should not be greater than ordered quantity.
Hence system will reserve only 10 Kg (2*5=10kg) where as sales requirement is 20 Kg.

Please consider upgrading the system to auto populate quantity from CW quantity based on the nominal quantity input.

Hi Vignesh, this would invalidate the CW scenario whereby there are three boxes of the product having less than 10kg each, e.g. 9kg, 9kg, 8kg.

You would not be able to reserve the inventory, even though it is clearly available.

This is why the minimum quantity is required to be reserved in the Inventory unit, and not the nominal quantity.
