Issue:

We encountered an issue where product sub-grids in Dynamics 365 Sales automatically refresh approximately every 30 seconds. This happens both in the read-only grid and the in editable grid.

1. This behavior is by design for sub-grids
2. It cannot be disabled via the UI or supported APIs

This leads to unintended consequences, such as forcing the user to page 1 if he/she is one page 2 or more or if he/she has scrolled down in the list they are forced to the top

Our Recommendation:

We request Microsoft to consider:

1. Support way to control or suppress automatic sub-grid refresh, particularly for scenarios with business logic bound to the onload event
2. Providing a flag or event context to differentiate between system-initiated and user-initiated refreshes

This enhancement would greatly improve developer control and user experience for more complex business processes.
