Business Central is supposed to have basic CRM capabilities with the upgrade path to Dynamics 365 Sales if you want more advanced features. However, there is a glaring missing basic functionality that should be in Business Central. It exists in the CRM parts of Dynamics but not business central. This missing part is customer birthdate for persons and incorporation/organization date for businesses if using Contacts for business. This is a pretty core aspect of managing a customer relationship - recognizing key dates surrounding the person or the business. These key dates should be added to the contract functionality in business central.
