It should be possible to have a campaign as a regarded object in an activity.
= It should be possible to have activities for campaigns, just as you can have activities in other entities (like account, order, ...)
Remark: I know there are Planning tasks in campaign and activities related to the accounts r contacts of the related marketing list.
BUT: It is not possible to create an appointment regarding the campaign or to send an email regarding the campaign

We released this feature as part of the functionality in a previous major release. Planning activities are maintained in the Activity Timeline.
