Issue Context:

Customers have reported issues when attempting to create contacts from the View Contact page in Finance and Operations (FnO) applications using Dual-Write integration.

This behavior is documented as a known limitation in the official guide:

Problem details:

• Creating a contact from Add Contact works as expected.
• Creating a contact from View Contact fails, causing synchronization errors with CE.

This scenario impacts standard processes where contact creation is part of critical workflows in FnO.

Operational Impact:

• Disruption in synchronization between FnO and CE, affecting data consistency.
• Increased resolution time due to manual reprocessing.
• Functional limitation that impacts user experience and operational efficiency.

Key Findings:

• There is currently no public plan or LCS reference for customers to track this issue.
• Multiple customers have reported impact and requested clarification on whether this is “working as designed” or if a fix is planned.

Expected Outcome:

1. Provide an official confirmation or roadmap regarding resolution of this issue.
2. Evaluate the possibility of including a fix in upcoming FnO/Dual-Write releases or cumulative updates.
3. Publish the issue status in LCS for transparency with customers.

These improvements would significantly reduce operational risks and enhance the experience in standard contact creation scenarios.
