My idea is rather a correction to, in my opinion, a flawed design. This is only applicable if Sharepoint is setup with, for instance, the Account entity as the parent.

When saving Sharepoint documents against a Lead, a folder is created for this Lead's documents. After Qualifying the Account, Contact, Opportunity, Quote, Order etc etc saves its Sharepoint documents under the Lead. So 2 years after qualifying the Lead, you might raise a new Order OR new Opportunity and then the documents are still saved under this Lead.

Should the design not mimic the way Activities work? At Qualify of a Lead, the information is copied (or maybe it should not??) and then any further documentation lives under this new Account.
