We are looking to use Feature callouts internally to communicate changes to features we introduce with any new package deployment to PRD (we have 1000+ users). We've examined using this but some major shortcomings prevent us from using it.
- Callouts can't be placed on new area page menu items.
- Callouts cannot reference a new control placed on the details pane of a form. It seems like there is no way to only show a callout in grid view vs. details view - it just seems to float on the form instead of pointing to the control. (see screenshot)

Making these small but important tweaks would allow us to use this feature as intended to communicate our changes.
