As we have to import production data from a third party application we need to import the number of multiple finished goods per day from several locations without doing a production order inside D365FO. So currently only the inventory journal types "movement" and "counting" are supported for import via Data Entity.
So I suggest to develop public Data Entity as "Inventory Report as finished" aka as "BOM Journal". I think it could be helpful for many production reportings when production is done outside Dynamics environment e.g. in electronics industry where placing machines only report the number of finished boards, or in food or also retail industry where BOM is more useful as retail kits.
