My public sector client regularly enters GL journals and AP invoices with around 1000 lines. They make use of the features with Dynamics 365 which limit which financial dimensions are valid with a given main account or other financial dimensions. If there’s an error in one of the lines, there is no indication from any errors which line this error is coming from. This means something like 4 hours of someone who knows the dimension structure staring at 1000 lines trying to figure out which line matches the dimensions from the error.

We have programmed something to add an error column to quickly see which lines have errors which helps my client. There will be other public sector or similar clients who have large journals with more involved dimension rules who will experience this frustration. Can we add something to base Microsoft product which helps a client find the line where there is a financial dimension validation error?
