Microsoft Dynamics 365
How would this work for Insider versions such as Next Minor or Next Major? Will the downloaded current runtime version of the 3rd party runtime app allow you to build your apps on insider builds, not just current?
In many implementations we have added a modification to delete associated un-transferred time registrations on ending a production order. As previously mentioned our customers do not want to calculate, approve & transfer time journals. We have also had customers who wish to use MES and backflush standard hours. Resolving these issues would improve the offering.
I fully agree. It is understandable and needed that features are enabled when an new version is installed, but not for proactive quality updates. Customers have a possibility to decide when exactly new version will be installed and if there are some concerns about the new feature which is automatically enabled - it can be postponed if needed. With proactive quality updates it is not the case. So those should not change anything else as fix bugs.
This is a very reasonable request. Given that the customer is about to pay NCE which can't be redeem.
I would like to add that this previously worked as expected before we turned on Bing Maps in Dynamics Finance and Operations to resolve a DOM issue.
Update for others with the same issue:
I was able to get this in as a bug (Issue 785782). It will be resolved as per below:
An answer that it works by design is very typical when MS team didn't think it through.
It should not work this way as the ledger report is totally misleading.
I have added my vote. The confirmation screen when we put away trolleys is completely unnecessary and is an annoyance to our users. Please add an option to disable the confirmation page.
It seems "UNDER REVIEW" since a long time, is there any way to get an update on this topic?
The same issue is relevant for other countries as well (example: Hungary). Please make this feature available globally - not as a localization. Thank you!
