This has been a request on every production project I have been a part of, resulting in most clients having to build some sort of report or use Macros with the cost estimates and costing report. For some clients who want to be able to auto-end production orders that don't exceed a variance threshold, they have to do an enhancement so that this projected variance can be used to filter the batch job for ending production orders. Please add the absolute variance and a calculated percentage.
They do have this (sort of) in the "review transactions", but it is clunky and very time-consuming. And if you are matching many at one time and accidentally click in a wrong spot, EVERYTHING you've previously clicked goes away, and you have to start all over again. Plus, as I recall, you have to click very close (or exactly on) the radio button for the line you are matching, instead of anywhere on the whole line. It's useful but needs work.
We are heavily using detours / MDS on a current project and the lack of data entity support is posing a real challenge to maintain an accurate configuration across environments. The tedious steps to manually re-create each mobile device step leave much opportunity for error. Full support via DMF is definitely needed and would be much appreciated.
