Microsoft Dynamics 365
REMARK: Including credit line types.
The previous comment from a Microsoft Employee says this feature has been delivered, but I cannot create Account segments, and don't see Accounts mentioned in the documentation. This is still needed.
I hope this is coming soon. We cannot use this feature as-is, but it would be a huge hit if we could use different processes.
It's now 2022 and clients are still asking for this. Some of our clients are burning check numbers and running out of checks because of this. They need to order more checks just to accommodate this function which of course is an added cost to our clients. With 75 votes (at the time I'm writing this) and it's been "under review", can't we get this actually scheduled on the roadmap so we have a better answer to our clients?
This would be great! Our old accounting system did this so we could print onto blank paper stock and we didn't; have to spend so much time dealing with alignment issues.
We have submitted a ticket for this (2112210040005477) and while it's nice that it's in the telemetry, users need to be told when a Job Queue stops to know when to restart it. Users will not be sitting there watching the telemetry and then go and restart the queues. They need a notification in order to action the next steps. Even if it's just emailing users that would be a great help.
It feels like a stock response and perhaps it's worthwhile Microsoft reconsidering some of their approach to what should be part of the standard product. Customers are always confused when they move from cheaper products such as Xero to a premium product like Business Central. Those cheaper products (that I have specifically listed in the original request) have this integration. It's frustrating for both customers and partners to constantly have to fix holes in the standard product and pay extra to an additional supplier to fix those holes.
We handle this by adding the roles in configuration mode for a profile.
This way all persons using the same profile have the same views.
This is a must have feature! It's the kind of thing that non-IT users cannot understand being missing (or IT folks in some cases) and might force a change in system.
