We wants to embed the canvas app in a model-driven app and use it in a separate tab or window.
You can place an iframe in the main form of a model-driven app, but embedding in a canvas app is not specified.

About the Dynamics 365 for phone activity record modal window
Currently, when we open an activity record in Dynamics 365 for phone, it is displayed in a modal window.
Having a setting to display this behavior like a regular form will make it more convenient for more users.

SSO with enterprise apps not working in Dynamics mobile app
As part of the Unified Interface, we have integrated with many enterprise applications via webresources (iframe) using Single Sign On. The SSO and rendering of enterprise apps works good on browsers, but not on the Dynamics Mobile App in IOS device.
