  • Company Tax Detail report when printed to printer cuts off the last column of the report Tax Amount

    If you go to Reports > Company > Taxes >> Tax Transactions Report (check "In Detail" box) Printing the report to screen looks fine, but if you send it to the printer (even PDF) then the last column "Tax Amount" will not print. Go into report writer and you can see the layout of the report is outside of the default page setup, so it makes sense that this column would not print. As a workaround, I can modify the report so that everything fits. Thanks

  • When you use the Mass Modify Chart of Accounts it does not update MODIFDT column in GL00100

    We use this column in a SmartList to show when an account changes so it would be nice if it updated all the time even when the Mass Modify is used When inactivating a range of accounts using the 'Mass Modify' feature in Dynamics GP, the Modified Date populates at 0/00/0000 on the SmartList after the inactivation has been completed. However, when you individually inactive each account, the date populates.

  • Allow Payroll Integration to Payables documents to be submitted into the workflow process

    When creating a Payroll integration to payables transaction, the record that gets created in the PM10000 has a workflow_status column value of 0. This occurs if there is or is not an active payables transaction workflow enabled. This prevents the transaction from being able to be used with workflow and will also cause the transaction to not appear on the default Payables Transaction Not Submitted navigation list. We would like to see these types of transactions submitted into workflow or ability to do so or appear on our lists.

  • Allow Payroll Integration to Payables (PIP) work with FUTA/SUTA posting

    Right now PIP works for federal, state, local tax, deduction and benefits.
    I would like to see PIP work for the FUTA and SUTA amounts as well.
    Maybe tie it from the post of the FUTA/SUTA amounts to GL or add a new button in that window of period end reports.
     
  • Ability for an employee to be over the Shared Maximums for Benefits and Deductions

    In GP 2018 R2 we added the option for Shared Maximums for Benefits and Deductions, right now we only allow the benefit or deduction to be in one shared group. I need the ability to have some employees go over this maximum in certain cases: Example For example, on 401k deductions, I have a code for pre-tax traditional 401k and one for after-tax Roth 401k. I setup the shared deduction max at $19,000 (for 2019). However, for those employees who are age 50 and over (who can contribute an additional $6,000) I need to give those employees a higher maximum but I cannot as I cannot create a new group nor changing it at the employee level would allow this.

  • When print an Invoice with a Blank Invoice Form it will default to Standard when printing even if enabled in Template Configuration

    Many customers use SOP for this and it works fine, but if you are using Invoicing and not SOP the template Report Type is not defaulted to template when printing an Invoice when a Blank Invoice Form word template, the standard option continues to default. In the Template Configuration it is enabled for template.

  • Ability to save the Payroll Transaction defaults to a batch

    When you enter payroll transactions in a batch, we have Transaction Defaults Pay Period From and To Days Worked Weeks Worked When I close the batch entry window Then go back to key more trx the defaults are lost It would be nice if we saved the defaults to the batch id/ header table so they do not have to be re-entered every time. I think we could look at storing in the header table select * from UPR10301

  • Microsoft Dynamics GP scan document process does not work properly with redirect scanning

    If you configure Remote FX USB redirection (Local Group Policy Editor > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Connection Client > Remote FX USB Device Reditrection > "Allow RDP redirection of other supported RemoteFX USB devices from this computer" = Enabled,) Then, open RDP and uncheck the box for Printer redirect, check the Remote FX USB printer, (Show Options > Local Resources > Uncheck 'Printers' > Click More > Expand Other supported RemoteFX USB devices > check the USB scanner) and THEN connect to RDP, the redirected printer will now have scan options, but GP still does nothing when you click Scan.

  • Workflow history not available on a JE Reversal

    Our client had a situation where the auditors pulled a transaction to look at the workflow history and it was a JE Reversal and the icon the toolbar to view History is greyed out. If you look at the original JE you can view the history but not on the reversal. Would like the ability to see this on a reverse transaction. In GP 2018 we added a Workflow History report for situations like this where you can print out WF history for a specified Workflow Type and date range or user range. This would show you the WF history and comments on your batch approvals.

  • Ability to completely remove a Document Attachment from the system

    If you accidently attach something that should not be there, which trust me it happens. You can delete it, but it goes to the deleted tab, there is no option to completely remove it, which I get, but we do see cases where we need to remove it, the only option is to go through the SQL tables. Should we have something in those special cases to delete the attachment completely? Example if you attach something at the currency setup accidentally, even when in the deleted tab it goes to all the trx and historical trx which is a pain to fix. If you attach some PPI information to an employee record accidently or on the wrong employee, this information is still in the deleted tab which legally we need to get rid of it. Maybe we could put some security around the deletion part of it for more control. Thanks
