  • Retain the alignment settings for pre-printed forms in web client

    When printing a pre-printed RW reports (such as POP Purchase Order Blank Form), in web client, users are prompted for alignment if printing from Web Client. This appears as the Pre-printed form options tab in the print dialog of a thick client. When value is entered in thick client, value is saved. So the same value appears the next time. On Web Client however, this value is not retained and default's back to zero, thus a user is prompted each time in web client during the print process.
  • Ability to do Excel Copy and Paste Journals in web client

    Back on GP 2013 we added the ability to Copy and Paste from Excel functionality in the GL Transaction Entry Window, this was a huge request by our customers. Right now this does not work on web client, only rich client. The stumbling block you run into is the copying the excel data from the client machine, the server cannot access the client clipboard to paste in GP in web client. Would be nice to have this in web client.

  • Add functionality for a 1099 withholding tax required in CA and PA

    In year 2018, Pennsylvania is requiring a ‘withholding tax’ on out of state vendors that receive a 1099 form, CA is also requiring this. It is my understanding that PA withholdings need to be reported on the providers federal 1099 – in box 16 and 17 For CA there is no requirement on their 1099, however there is an additional form 592 that will need to be submitted totaling all withholding – at both the individual and entity level. http://www.revenue.pa.gov/GeneralTaxInformation/TaxLawPoliciesBulletinsNotices/Documents/Informational%20Notices/info_notice_pit_2017-01.pdf
  • Users may not get prompted that a deferral exist when modifying distributions amounts with different Orgin currencies

    Ensure that you have Revenue Expense Deferrals installed and enabled. If you key a transaction other than your functional currency, then reopen that transaction, change the purchase amount and currency, then drill to distributions again, change your distributions, you are not prompted that the Deferral transactions will be deleted, do you want to continue. The prompt seems to appear most times when the currency matches the fuctional
  • Tax Detail is not getting assigned to overpayment write off's with originating currency

    If you mark to ‘Require tax detail totals to match the pre-tax amount’ in Company Setup Options { MDGP | Tools | Setup | Company | Company – click the Options button } and the Invoice/Payment are in an Originating currency, the tax detail is not added automatically to the Debit Memo during the overpayment write off procedure, this works fine for Functional currency. In this case, the batch will go to recovery and you need to manually add the tax detail before you post.
  • Bank Transfer does not drill back when you have 1 in OPEN & 1 in HIST

    Bank transfers create 2 records in the CM20200 table. One for the 'from' checkbook and one for the 'To' checkbook. If you reconcile one checkbook and then move those reconciled transactions to history (CM30200), then the drill-back on this bank transfer from Checkbook Inquiry window is missing information. The drill back works if both sides are either in OPEN or in HIST. But if the transfer is split, where one checkbook has it in OPEN and the other in HISTORY, then the details of the transfer do not display till they are both moved to history
  • Web Client: Vendor account lookup window will not open if you have changed vendors after having previously been on the account tab

    Only occurs in web client instances. The account lookup hourglass of the account tab in the vendor maintenance window will not do anything if you have switched vendors in the window after having previously been on the accounts tab without closing the window.
  • Ship to Address changes do not roll down to all lines on a PO when Enhanced Intrastat is active

    When you have Enhanced Intrastat active, you are not prompted with the warning “Do you want to roll down changes to line items with the same Ship To Address ID and Shipping Method", and nothing will roll down to all lines on the document. Would be nice to have this functionality if EI is active.
  • Payroll Monthly Deduction / Benefit Maximum

    Many times there is a need in payroll to have a monthly maximum field which we do not have, it is getting more and more common, it would be nice to have a monthly deduction and benefit maximum field on those windows. Thanks
  • Would like copy and paste for purchasing transactions

    We enter several GL accounts in a purchasing transaction, so copy/paste from an Excel report would be very beneficial This forum post has a need for it as well in the community. There are some ISV's that do this, but would be nice to see this in the core product like GL copy and paste is a HUGE hit.
