  • Dedicated Process Server, DPS to work for Computer checks in payables.

    Would like to see the DPS feature work for Computer Check PM Batches, right now when used it seems like the batches are going into recovery when used with DPS.
  • The SOP Blank History Invoice Form will default to Template when printing even if not enabled in Template Configuration

    The SOP Blank History Invoice Form will default to Template when printing, even if there isn't a template assigned for it, once any template is assigned for the non-history form. Since there is no access marked to the History form, should default to Standard, but once the non-history template is assigned as a default, the History form defaults to template Workaround is to manually select Standard instead of Template when you print the form.
  • Web Client - Tabbing out of the vendor search field does not trigger search.

    In the Purchasing > Transaction Entry > Vendor > Vendor Search window. After entering the search term in the vendor search field, tabbing out does not trigger a search On other search fields in Web Client, tabbing out of the search field triggers a search.
  • Field Level Security Bypass password via entering three blank password using lookup window

    Fields protected with Password Before field security, can be bypassed using the lookup window and three blank password, allowing users to change value without a proper password. Workaround: User Password After instead.We set up Field Level security that requires the user to enter a password before the field is updated. If the user pushes "ok" without entering the password three times, it bypasses the password requirement and allows the user to change the data in the field.

  • Purchase Orders Preview window has errors, but not display easily to the user

    Purchase Orders Preview window has errors, but not display easily to the user In order to test the functionality please click the PO tab and select a vendor that does NOT have that particular item setup on the item vendor maintenance window. I would expect a red X next to that item/vendor combination in the tree. However in GP 2018 this is not the case. The user has to click through the tabs to find the error message.
  • GP 2018 allow saving of message "Skip displaying the new Purchase Order? Yes or No? per user so not prompted forward

    In GP 2018 Mid year update 2018 changes were made to this feature, noted in the blog - update section https://community.dynamics.com/gp/b/dynamicsgp/archive/2018/01/08/purchase-order-gen-open-po-list-with-new-po-39-s-filter However, you get this message EVERY time you generate a PO. (either through Req or SOP to POP). Would like to see the product save this message for the user so it is not prompted each time, which would require a table change/ feature request to do so. Thanks
  • BAS Form field 7A - GST deferred on imported goods allow to be editable

    The Business Activity Statement (BAS) Report system does have a 7A field for deferred GST which becomes enabled when you import a BAS form previously exported from the Electronic Commerce Interface (ECI) software. This field is usually pre-populated by the ATO and so is only activated once a BAS form has been imported. Basically the 7A figure is supplied by the ATO and does not come from anywhere in Microsoft Dynamics GP. Because of this it only gets populated when you import the form from the ECI software (which also populates the info behind that expansion button). Dynamics GP populates the data and then you export back to the ECI software. The issue is that ECI software was replaced by the ATO Business Portal website and you don't import and export the XML files anymore Thus it would be nice if we make this field editable to the customer on the window. They would as a minimum like to manually edit field 7A on the BAS form.
  • Inactive option in the Project Allocation Maintenance still allows you to enter a transaction

    When attempting to use the inactive field for Project Allocation, nothing happens and searches do not change as expected. Example: Go to Cards>Project>Project Allocation and select an allocation ID or create a new one, then mark it as inactive Go to Transactions>Project>Allocation and enter a trx for the one you marked as inactive and it still allows you to key a transaction for it when it is inactive.
  • Blank Invoice Form with Options prints blank when you print from Navigation List when you include tax details

    When printing Blank Invoice Form with Options from the All Sales Transactions or Invoicing transactions Navigation list the report prints with no lines on the report when you include tax details. The workaround is User will need to pull up the transaction in Invoice Entry and print or print by batch in Invoice Batch Entry (Sales >> Transactions >> Invoicing Batches)
  • Payroll Integration to Payables add Remit To address field.

    A few versions back, we added the Address ID to the PIP setup window, customers loved it. Now customers want to see the Remit to address field on the PIP setup too. The remit to that groups transactions for payments if multiple remit to address ID’s are in the same check batch, having this field linked up in PIP would really help out customers.
