  • Resynchronizing contacts after deleting them in Outlook

Hello, I am using Dynamics 365 for Sales, with the Outlook synchronization enabled for contacts. Recently I have deleted all of my contacts from Outlook in the hopes they would resynchronize back from Dynamics 365 for Sales. However, this doesn't work. Even changing the personal filter, deactivating, deleting and reactivating it doesn't make a difference. So my idea is that contacts from Dynamics 365 for Sales will ALWAYS synchronize to Outlook, even after you have (accidentally) deleted them from Outlook.
  • Display tracked label for e-mails that have been tracked by other users of Dynamics 365

We are stumbling upon the following issue: E-mails that were sent to both myself and a couple of colleagues of mine are being tracked in Dynamics 365, but the 'tracked' label is only visible for the user that actually tracked the e-mail himself. When I look at the exact same e-mail in Outlook (which I know has been tracked in Dynamics), the Dynamics App for Outlook tells me the e-mail has NOT been tracked. Right now I can only see the tracking label on my own tracked e-mails. It would be great if the App for Outlook always displays the correct tracking label, no matter who tracked it. This would save a lot of time and would give all users the necessary insights that you need to work together in a CRM system.
  • Security roles on Products - only show users the products from the business unit they belong to

In Dynamics 365 most records have an 'Owner'. This can be a user or a team (or a business unit). In the security roles, you have the ability to choose whether a user can see/write/create their own records, or set it to Business Unit or Organization. This works well for entities like Accounts and Contacts. However, for Products this feature is not available. Every product is visible for every user in the system. Of course this is not acceptable in many instances. A lot of my customers have already asked the question: is it possible to use the same level of security on the product entity, that you get with entities like Accounts and Contacts? It would be great to have this ability.
  • Ability to sort emails in the timeline based on the date they have been received/sent

The idea is to have the ability to sort emails in the timeline of entities like Accounts, Contacts or Opportunities based on the date that they have been received/sent. At the moment, the tracked emails will be sorted based on the date of creation in Dynamics 365 (the date that they have been tracked), but this creates a very bad overview of the activities and it works counter productive. This only works when every user always tracks all their e-mails, because when an email from (e.g.) 2018 is tracked, it will still be put on the top of the timeline, instead of where it belongsā€¦ lower down on the date that it was actually received. When a user decides he/she wants to track several older e-mails, it will create a mess in the timeline, as all those emails (no matter how old) will appear on the top of the timeline in Dynamics 365. So that's why I am suggesting the ability to sort all e-mails based on the date that they have been received/sent. Then we can clean up the messy timelines for all customers and actually deliver on the promise of 'seemless integration' between Dynamics 365 and Outlook :) Thank you!
