  • Filter pane for Configuration Package Errors

    In the configuration PAckage / Worksheet when you select the errors there is no filter pane (and no option to add). Many times when working with a customers data errors showing all errors for a table is a good way to communicate the issues to the customer for correction. Also we need to be able to select the rows in the Config Package Records and/or Configuration package Errors and copy and past rows to excel or send to excel. Then we can send the customer the records with errors and the associated error to the customer so the errors can be reviewed and resolved.
  • Update Log and Notifications

    It would be very beneficial to have a notification when BC is updated with a link to a web page detailing the update. Hot fixes are being pushed in without any notification and if they fix or break things knowledge of a change would be a great help in troubleshooting issues. PS I've tried to submit this at least once a week for the past 3 weeks and it seems to submit but then is nowhere to be found.
  • All table fields available on Pages to add via personalization

    Customers and partners have been asking for all table fields to be available on all pages to add without customization vie personalize (or in on premise Show Columns) for at last 15 years now, Can you please make all related table fields available to users to be added via personalize vs having to create an extension to add existing stock fields to pages. This way customers can add fields they need without having to pay a partner to write and add an extension to add fields to pages.
  • Home Button - to return to role center

    It would be nice to have a Home or Role Center button to return the user to their main role center screen.
  • Attachments - Add Production Flow

    The new attachments functionality would be very beneficial to add to the Production / Manufacturing flow. This would allow users to attach documents like Engineering Drawings, QC check sheets, etc. that would flow from the item to Production orders. These documents could then be printed as part of a job packet.
  • Print to Attachment

    It would be great if we could print to an "Attachment" for example have an option on the Print Sales COnfirmation where it saves a copy of the printed document as an attachment on the Sales order that will follow the sales flow (to sales invoice, etc.). Another use would be to print a quote to an attachment so that when you create a sales order form the quote, the pdf of the quote will be shown in the attachments documents on a sales order.
  • Planning worksheet - create released production orders

    There is no option to create a released production order and create and print a released production order in the carry out action message function from the planning worksheet. Many customers want to go directly to a released order vs a firm planned and changing the status. We have done modifications for many customers to add this option and we were never sure why this was never added as a stock option.
  • External Document No on posted sales pages

    External Document number is not on the Posted Sales Shipment and Posted Sales Invoice page. Usually customers will call asking if an order has shipped or other order related information and they will provide their Purchase Order number (external document no). The customer service agent searches for this and it works perfectly in the sales order list. However if the sales order is fully shipped and invoiced, they search the posted sales shipments as the sales order is removed when fully invoiced. We need to have the field searchable on the Posted document pages.
  • Address Enter Order (Postal Code)

    It would be nice to have a system setting related to the entry order for the Postal/Zip Code. For example in the US it is beneficial to set as follows: Country (if blank default to US) Zip Code Select City which will populate the related state from the zip code table) This has been a problem for many years as the user will enter a city, state and then when they enter a zip code the city and state are blanked out with he zip code validation. The entry process could be different in different counties or for different companies? It would be nice if based on the setting the actual field order on the pages where addresses are entered would be in the order selected in a global setting.
  • Over Receive for Purchase Orders

    Customers have asked for years for the ability to over receive purchase orders based on an allowable tolerance. This used to be a fairly straight forward modification in on-premise C/AL but it very difficult with extensions and there really should be stock functionality for this. An over receive tolerance could be entered globally, by vendor and by items (i.e. 10%) When receiving the user could enter a quantity to receive greater than the PO line quantity and there are multiple options that have been used to handle the overage 1) Add an additional line to the PO for the over quantity 2) increase the current line quantity and either store the original quantity and/or set a flag for over received. 3) Leave the current line quantity and allow the qty to receive and qty to invoice to be greater than the line quantity. I have seen all of the above used for various customers with modifications done by ISV's or other partners or by our staff. This is a very commonly requested function and customers are genuinely surprised this is not a stock function as they have this in other ERP systems thy have used.
