  • Employee Address Field Limited to 22 Characters

Please limit the employee address lines to 22 characters since the SSA restricts the length for W-2's.
  • Add applicant email to eConnect for Applicant Module & attach documents

Please add applicant email to eConnect so we can use the resource. Currently having to use custom fields. Also, the ability to attach an uploaded resume or application from a PDF format through eConnect would be a tremendous time saver.
  • Retirement Plan employee drops contribution to 0%, save to deduction card

Is it possible when an employee drops retirement to 0% to update the deduction card to 0%? If not, at least have a message to manually change the deduction and benefit card to 0 also. The employee is still a participate in the plan but wants to not contribute for a time period. This has caused mistakes with the payroll checks.
  • Redesign the Retirement Plan window to add functionality

The window can be confusing to users. The misc benefits window is basic so redesigning retirement to be similar to misc benefits could be helpful. Not sure if anyone still uses the funds section, if not, could that be removed or reduced? Could Box 13 checkbox for the Tax Info Card be added and then update the deduction card to update the W-2? OR when checked, update the employee Tax Card. Match capability - could tiers be used with % and not just dollar amounts for employer match? For example, 1% = 100% match, 2-5% contribution = 50% match. Currently we use multiple codes and the new combined year max helps but can get confusing on enrollments, smartlists, etc.
  • Email notification to payroll and supervisor - Orientation/Termination Checklist

It would be fantastic if users were able to click the Notify Payroll button on the Orientation Checklist and were able to email to the payroll admin. Having email functionality similar to printing a report to screen and emailing or a way to have the email address linked. Adding the button to the Termination Checklist would be handy. If users use Supervisors within GP, it would be a great workflow to notify supervisors from the checklists also. Capability even if you did not use Self Service.
  • Ability to enter GL posting accounts at the employee level to override payroll posting settings

Ability to enter GL posting accounts by employee, by pay code that splits the posting for the benefits and taxes like the Transaction Auto Split. If entered by employee it overrides the posting set up. Companies that have employees that work in multiple depts, positions, grants, stipends, etc. The payroll posting account set up becomes limited with you only have Dept, Position and Pay Code. Employers get creative with Positions and Pay Codes for the GL posting and away from Org Charts.
  • Add Training link under Cards - HR for NON Advanced HR Clients

For clients that do not own Advanced HR, they are having to access the Training windows by pulling up the Employee Maintenance window and then using the Go To Button instead of being able to use Cards - HR - Training.
  • Add message about saving transaction record in Manual Check Transaction Entry before entering another Transaction Type

Adding a message "Do you want to save this transaction?" before allowing another transaction type to be entered would be beneficial when entering Payroll Manual Checks, Adjustments or Beginning Balances.
  • Add "Attendance" to Seniority Date to lessen confusion from "Union" Seniority Date

The Seniority Date can become confusing since Seniority Date is used in Union Employee Maintenance and Attendance Maintenance. Please change in Human Resources Preferences to be Update ATTENDANCE Seniority Date with Adjusted Hire Date. On the Employee Attendance Maintenance window, please change Seniority Date to read ATTENDANCE Seniority Date. Could be a better idea out there but I have found that this gets confusing when adjusting either length of service or rehires when it comes to the length of service or benefits dates.

  • Fix the Build Check Warning "Vacation pay hours exceed employee vacation available” when Employees have enough hours

Could this be fixed instead of having to continue to Reconcile for those using Attendance? When you build checks in Payroll, the following warning is displayed on the Build Check File Report even though the employee has sufficient vacation hours in the Employee Attendance Maintenance window: Vacation pay hours exceed vacation available This problem occurs if the following conditions are true: The checkbox is marked in Payroll for Warn When Vacation Available Falls Below Zero or Warn When Sick Time Available Falls Below Zero. The Accrue type is set to Human Resources. To resolve the error, the warning checkboxes on the Payroll side need to be cleared. Even though accruals are done in Human Resources, the warning flags on the Payroll side are still being read and cause the error.
