Azure Synapse Link - Correct the structure of CSV file when the data model changes
Suggested by Amaury Veron – New – 0 Comments
In Azure Synapse Link for Dataverse, Tables of Dataverse are being synchronized to CSV files. We face issues when the data model of a Table changes.
Indeed, when a new column is added in a Table, only the new or updated records have the new column in the CSV file. Existing records do not have the new column in the CSV file.
Then, all lines in the CSV file don't have the same number of columns, which is not standard and makes the CSV file not readable by many tools and languages. The only solution to fix the CSV file is to remove the concerned Table from the synchronisation, and add it again.
This is also a bigger issue because Microsoft can deploy new fields on a Table at any time, and can do it in Production-type environments before Sandbox-type environments.
Then, we face unpredictable issues in the CSV files in Azure Synapse Link, that we can solve only after they happened, even in Production.
The idea is the following: when a new column in added in a Table synchronized in Azure Synapse Link: all records in the CSV file should be updated to use the new column, in order to have a standard CSV file accepted by all tools and languages.

Feature Request – Dashboard for Audit Log Retention Tracking in Power Platform
Suggested by Rajalaxmi Rout – New – 0 Comments
Currently, there is no centralized dashboard available to track audit log settings and retention periods across environments in Power Platform. This creates a visibility gap for administrators who need to monitor and manage data governance effectively.
We’ve observed the following:
- Audit logs can have their retention period set to "forever", which may lead to excessive Dataverse storage usage if not regularly monitored.
- At present, admins must manually access each environment’s settings to review audit log status and retention configuration.
- There is no consolidated view to track Dataverse audit log usage, retention periods, or potential overuse risks.
We propose a feature enhancement to include a dashboard in the Power Platform Admin Center that provides:
- A summary view of audit log status and retention periods for each environment.
- Alerts or indicators for environments with indefinite retention settings.
- Usage statistics showing how much Dataverse space is consumed by audit logs.
- Add two new actions(get audit settings and update audit settings) in the PowerPlatformforAdmins connector.
This would enable admins to take proactive measures for capacity planning and ensure compliance with internal data retention policies.
Thank you for considering this request.

Why Use Metal Briquetting Machine
Suggested by Hysan Balers – New – 2 Comments
A metal briquetting machine compresses scrap metal, chips, and turnings into dense, compact briquettes for easy handling, storage, and recycling. This hydraulic or mechanical system reduces waste volume, lowers transportation costs, and minimizes environmental impact. Ideal for industries like automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing, it processes materials such as aluminum, steel, copper, and brass. The machine improves recycling efficiency, reduces oil contamination, and enhances workplace safety by minimizing loose metal debris. Available in various sizes and capacities, modern briquetting machines feature automation, adjustable pressure, and user-friendly controls. Investing in this equipment boosts sustainability, cuts costs, and optimizes metal waste management.

Disable or Hide Edit Filters button on Main Grid
Suggested by Bruce Beavis – New – 0 Comments
I would like the ability to Disable or Hide Edit Filters button on Main Grid based on a users Security role or at the Application module level - preferable both to provide the most flexibility around who can edit filters in views.
This is important to me as I am using views to prevent users from seeing sensitive data that they should. not be able to access.
I am already using Owners Teams for a higher level of data segmentation and now find that we are exposed if the user discovers they can Edit the filter and remove one of the rows thereby exposing data that they should not see.

Inquiry on Automating Email Reconciliation via excel and Power Automate
Suggested by LAKEISHA BLANSON – New – 0 Comments
Dear Power BI Team,
I hope you’re doing well.
I’m reaching out to inquire whether it’s possible to reconcile emails using an Excel spreadsheet. I’m exploring ways to reconcile emails in an Excel spreadsheet-ideally by using Outlook. Specifically, I’d like to know if we can upload and Excel file to SharePoint or Power Automate and have it automatically populate the Excel file with information on when the emails was responded to and by whom. Example attached.
The goal is to streamline a process where incoming emails are matched against data in the Excel file-ideally automating this workflow without manual intervention.
Could you please advise if this feasible with the current Power BI and Power Automate capabilities. If so, any guidance or best practices would be greatly appreciated

Limit the Default environment
Suggested by Jason Ohlms – New – 0 Comments
Please provide the ability to assign a security group to the Default environment as this would grant administrators more granular control and improved security when licensing is assigned.
Every other environment with the exception of Default can have a security group assigned yet this environment is the initial one that users are routed into once licensed.
This is a use case that could impact tens of thousands of users at our company.

Option to View All Security Roles of a User with Read Only Permission
Suggested by Keh Hong Koo – New – 0 Comments
At System -> Security -> Users, when viewing a user, only the first 3 security roles are displayed. If there are more than 3 roles, then it will display the message "XX more". If the user has System Admin role, then there will be a link for the user to click and view and assign the roles in the system.
However, if the user only has Read permission to security roles, then there is no way for the user to view all the roles that are being assign to that user.
Propose to have a link or option on the user interface under "Direct Assigned Roles" for a user with Read only permission to view the list of roles assigned.

Auto Translation Solution
Suggested by Muhammad Arya Rizky Raditya Yoviputranto – New – 0 Comments
When we need to change to another language, we should install language on Admin Power Platform but some entities still can't change to new language and need import translation solution then need to update manually. Could you add new feature to help auto translate to new language? because it will takes more time if update the file manually.

Return all Flows on the resources page for an environment (PPAC)
Suggested by Heather Onder – New – 0 Comments
In the PPAC, when going to resources > flows for a large environment, not all flows are displayed. Please fix this so admins can easily reassign flows when needed rather than having to go through powershell.

It is not "hard" to find orphaned flows, it is currently not possible.
