Trying to initially load into Dynamics 365 takes far too long. This seems to take around 2-3 minutes before the page finally loads and the rest of the site loads normally almost each day. This can be frustrating for users as that is a fairly long wait at the start of the day and nothing really shows of what the loading status is, and just seems like it's stuck loading the main Dynamics page forever.
We had reached out to Microsoft's support about this and also ran a diagnostic test to confirm that this isn't an issue with our connection. They had noted this is due to a design limitation with Dynamics and how it loads up metadata initially and that nothing can be done about it and suggested we raise an idea here to assist with having them look into the feasibility of enhancing it.
It would be ideal that loading the initial page (which is literally just the Apps list) not take 2-3 minutes as it doesn't make that much sense that this much metadata needs to be downloaded just to show the initial page. Changes should be made on how metadata is handled so it doesn't need to be all downloaded at the start to improve the load time.
We see this bug. Every. Single. Day.
What I do is to simply DDOS the site holding down ALT + ENTER for the Settings page, for example: xxxxx.crm.dynamics.com/main.aspx?settingsonly=true and also the Advanced Find page: xxxxx.crm.dynamics.com/main.aspx?pagetype=advancedfind only then, after about 50+ tabs/connections are opened, it would take maybe another 10 seconds for the site to load smoothly.

Same, they would just route the support ticket to a third-world country with staff barely able to speak English, took them half an 45-minutes to ask for the HAR file from our network, then took 2 more weeks to diagnose, only to close our ticket telling us that this is expected behavior as the data is expected to take a long time to load initially.
