Workflow Status on Journals
Currently there is no way to tell whether a Journal is pending approval or has been approved. It would be nice to have something to indicate whether it's pending approval or approved.
Default dimensions on dimensions
We have a lot of clients who would benefit from the ability to default dimensions based on other dimensions. For example, the CENTRAL Region dimension is defaulted when the ADMIN Department dimension is selected.
ACH EFT File Export Event Publisher Allowing Access to File
For the purposes of automating ACH/EFT SFTP upload, an event publisher is required that allows developers access to the generated file that is currently downloaded directly from the file system. Files on the file system are not accessible through extension based development in SaaS.
Posting Date Restrictions by User Group in User Setup
Currently in User Setup, you have to specify a specific user to define posting date restrictions. It would be nice to have the ability to define a group of users (possibly User Groups) on this screen so that you can cover multiple users in the same group with one line instead of many lines.
Extend the length of CODE fields in Business Central
Master data codes in Business Central (dimensions, items, customers, vendors, fixed assets, etc.) are typically limited to 20 characters which is annoying. Ideally all codes are 50 characters.
