For some users, adding Appointments is used as often as adding Phone Call activities.
But in order to add Appointment activities, you need to click the more commands button.
It would be nice to show ‘Appointment’ button or other activities right next to ‘Add Phone Call’ without using the SDK for CRM.
What it is not possible to select more than 8 fonts in CRM email template ? Why cant we get access to all fonts saved on machine ? like Notepad ?
We are suggested to use mail merge and use Word, but what if we dont want to spend money on MS Office ?
Ability to show/hide alert message "unavailable at this time" warning on CRM appointments
It would be very nice to have a such function as a default feature.
I have a request from a customer who does not want to see the alert message like below;
"ERROR is:The user is unavailable at this time."
Many of our CRM users are frustrated by the warning message on CRM appointments stating that "(User) is unavailable at this time". Not only does this appear as a yellow warning on appointments, making them think that an error has occurred, but it also pops up when creating or updating appointments, meaning 1 extra click to save.
On investigation, it seems that this is linked to the appointment Organizer - something that doesn't appear on the appointment form but is auto-populated with the create user. The warning appears whenever there are 2 or more appointments at the same time with the same Organiser.
The control has the "Notes" tab that should be configurable (hide) if we don't use it as to not confuse users.
Other potential configurations:
- Ability to add fields to the quick create form (e.g. the phone call form)
- Ability to add configurable custom buttons
The CRM email template is a realy powerful feature. Especially when using MS CRM Outlook Client. Unfortunately this feature is restricted to only a few standard entities.
We had often the requirement to build email templates for custom entities. It would be great if the platform could solve this.
I understand that several activity types can have multiple customers linked but the regarding field is limited to one. So if I have a custom entity (e.g. "Project") then I cant link one email to multiple projects. Connections doesnt work for me because
1) It takes lots of clicks
2) Users dont like it
3) It doesnt allow the activity to be seen in the activity list on the left nav of the project.
So basically it would be great to be able to choose multiple regarding items in one activity
You can trigger a Microsoft Flow from Dynamics 365 Command Bar and create various posts, like messages in Microsoft Teams. Great! It would be really convenient if we could also replicate these messages as native Activity Feeds Posts inside Dynamics 365 database, thus directly visible on the entity form. Unfortunately the Flow connector for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement doesn't expose the Regarding field when trying to define field values in the "Create a new record" step.
Please expose the Regarding field for Microsoft Flow. Since Activity Feeds are still very much present in V9 Unified Interface, it doesn't look like there's a plan to deprecate them, so fully supporting them as a mechanism for status updates related to business records would be very welcome.
When using Dynamics 365 (Online) Ver 9.0 on Dynamics 365 for phones, thumbnail of picture file is not displayed on Notes of activity eeds.
However, it can be displayed on Ver 8.2.
Not displaying it is inconvenient for users.
It would be user-friendly if the capability is implemented on Ver 9.0.
ACTIVITIES tab on Activity Feed is not very useful with such little information to show.
It would be better if it can be displayed as a sub-grid to add columns and see each record without opening it.
