Hi All,

It would be great if the angle brackets (<>) of breadcrumb in D365O would be clickable the same way as in Windows Explorer.

For example, the user navigates to this path: Sales and marketing>Setup>Opportunities>Probability

If the user clicks the bracket before Probability the menu elements under Opportunities would be shown (list of Probability, Prognosis, Reason, Sales process).

That would speed up the navigation in D365O as far as I am concerned.

Thanks,

Zoltan

In Platform update 24, the navigation bar was restyled to align with the Office header. Notably, this design does not maintain a breadcrumb in the header at all. Other updates to the Navigation pane made recently (e.g. remembering the expand/collapse state of nodes in the Navigation pane and the ability to expand/collapse all nodes) were targeted at improving main menu navigation. We are interested in hearing more about any main menu navigation scenarios that continue to be difficult to explore potential solutions.

CURRENT MAIN MENU IS RUBBISH, UNREADABLE!!!!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE MAKE IT BETTER

IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE OUT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT MENU LEVELS, ITS JUST WORDS SCATTERED ACROSS THE PAGE IN UNSTRUCTURED FASHION!!!!! 2 YEARS LATER AND IT STILL FEELS DREADFUL!!!!!

Is that clear enough for you???

Users expects breadcrumps to be clickable.  Even this webpage (ideas.dynamics.com) has a clickable breadcrump.

It's right there, why isn't it clickable?

Such feature would be really useful! This is also confusing if you use both D365 (CRM) and D365FO in daily work. D365 is web application, but the Breadcrumb is clickable there…so far ;) Please, bring it back to D365FO.

This option will be very useful. User will have quick access to related form in the same module. If I work in Workspace, for example Vendor invoice entry all content of the workspace is on the screen. When open link Open purchase order, explore the order and then close it - the screen shows the content of the workspace and you can continue working with it. Now open Module section and click on Account payable - all pages for this module are displayed in new window in the right part of the screen. Select  > Purchase orders >All purchase orders, explore some orders and close the order - your screen shows dashboard, not the screen with all pages in module Account payable.

I know I occasionally try to click on elements of the path.

It is so common to be able to click this path, every new user tries to click it. it would be so intuitive to be able to use it. maybe show the corresponding sub-menu like in AX? so the user does not have to search trough the whole menu?

I would like to see the old menu structure from the beta versions of AX7 re-implemented, or at least have the choice to use them (user or system option).  The current menu structure is unreadable.  We should be able to collapse.

Same goes for the clickable crumb button which was also present.

Clickable bracket / drop down breadcrumb menu is unnatural for Web. Windows explorer like navigation would be very good for the old Win32 AX client instead of its weird implementation

In the Web navigation hierarchy bar is expected to be clickable so you can go to upper levels. Look at Azure portal for example. AX client is web based now so it should adhere to web expected behaviour so I vote for clickable breadcrumb menu but not in the same way as Windows explorer
