Hi, it would be great to by able to add a extra file to emails sent from BC. I need to add a pdf file with the sales invoice or quote but it is not possible. This is very important for some customers.

Have had this request a couple of times from customers. I can understand their pov when they add an attachment to an order/invoice and when they want to send it to their customer the attachment doesn't get attached to the email. Would helps us a lot if this was implemented.

Having the options to add multiple attachments to any outgoing mail (whether via Report Selections, Mail Management, Document-Mailing, Mail, SMTP Mail codeunits) would reduce our footprint on standard objects a lot.

Please!! We have a large prospective customer coming from QB to BC, that generates Excel files which we attach to the BC summary (one line) invoice. When we email the invoice, the recipient needs to see the detail in the attached Excel file. There is supposedly and add-on from Simcrest called Auto-Email, but we can't get that to work. Should really be native capability in BC, just like it is in GP.

We can attach various files (external files) to a sales invoice (navigate -> invoice -> attachments). I am wondering whehter a feature can be added to inlcude these files attached to the documents while emailing the documents. It would be greate if this functionality can be extened to all the documents which have provision of attachments. A few my clients attach extra Excel and Text files to explain various items included in the purchase orders, sales orders, sales invoices and purchase invoices. All these clients have switched from QuickBooks. QuickBooks support this functionality and they are missing it. It was really useful to them.

Needed - many customers need to attach standard terms of trade pdf as well.
I had to make an extension that replaced the normal "Send Order Confirmation" because of this lack, and a lack of user-templates pr. language.

Please also consider adding extra attachments coming from the report selections. In CH we need to send the both the 'Sales Invoice' (report defined in the report selection - sales) together with the 'Sales ESR Coupon' (Additional report defined in the report selection - sales). Both reports should be added as separate attachments in ONE mail to be sent to the customer.
