Ledger Settlement to include the ability to handle foreign currency variances

We need the ability to use the ledger settlement functionality to settle transactions that can handle foreign currency variances.

This is a duplicate entry to support the ability to generate gains/losses during the Ledger settlement process so it's no longer necessary to exactly match the amounts.

In term of pure accounting process, to "clean" by settlement GL accounts with foreign currency variances is really necessary for justification of GL accounts for CFO and legal auditors. GL settlement functionality need to be improve by Microsoft...

Hi all....I'm looking for some feedback for an automatic ledger settlements feature. This idea may fit in this as well. Please email me at mfalkner@microsoft.com if you have someone that can provide feedback on this idea and on automatic ledger settlements (automatically settling transactions based on account, dimension, amount, etc)

This is a functionality which is required for all Global organizations who are doing transactions in many different currencies. It's critical for Viking Cruises to be able to do their business.
