Dear Microsoft, I like directions. I like knowing where I am going and where I will end up. The PU26 upgrade removed directions from my D365 world, and quite frankly I am not happy about it. As a support provider for our end users, I often need to assist navigation through the D365 world. Now, thanks to an oversized search bar I am unable to efficiently do so. I have to PHYSICALLY type out the path. Typing out paths is inefficient and quite frankly not a good use of time. Yes, yes – I know that I could just type in where I want to go in the oversized search bar. But that search bar is not always reliable, which I why I rarely used in previous versions. Honestly, I was holding out hope that the “breadcrumbs” would have future enhancements – like making it a live link so you could click back to a previous points in the path. C’est la vie. That wish is no more. Dear Microsoft, I like directions. I like knowing where I am going and where I will end up.
