The social pane would be infinitely more usable if there was the ability to change the activities sort or based on whatever date/time field we choose, currently modified date. We need to be able to have it be the created on date-time.

Additionally It would be nice if we could choose to present the entirety of the text of the activity in the social pane and not have to click on the activity to open it and read the whole thing.

Lastly, It would be great if we could choose what fields are presented in the social pane activities.

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback, we are adding the ability to customize the sort order of Social pane activities in an upcoming release. In future we will also add the ability to hide/show specific activity types from Social pane as well.

Thanks

For short term, this certainly took a long time to update.

Would be infinitely more valuable if you could choose what date and user fields you wanted to show on the Social Pane, perhaps options like Last Modified, Created, or Completed would be good options.

Doesn't make a heck of a lot of sense to be able to sort by a specific date, but you can't show that date. Would be great if you could choose what set of data the pane showed by default.  Rather than sorting by Created date, but then showing the last modified date (as it works in 8.2).  It only serves to confuse users.

Additionally we should be able to chose the activity type on display. Our marketing automation tool includes custom activity types for web vist / email click. We don't want to see this activity on the social pane.

Agree. WE need more customizable areas including labels. This should be done.
