Our collections department often requires access to billing notes created by the billing department. Use case: Billing department needs to add notes about project billing for Customer A on Project 123. They create a billing case on the project then add activities and notes. This requires that the case be of type "project" Our collections department is notified that Customer A is past due and opens a collections case for the particular invoice on Project 123. This requires that the case be of type "collections". Now the collections department needs to view all Project and Collections cases related to project 123. They are unable to see any billing notes because they are of type "project" which is not visible from the cases module. The collections department can go to "Common" and view all cases, however they are not able to filter the cases by related project. Therefore, they have limited ability to see all details about the project billing and thereby limiting the usefulness of the collections case management. The collections department would like to be able to view all cases which their role provides access to, filtered by project ID.
