In many circumstances, an implementation might not want to see certain Activity Types including Custom Activities displayed in the Activity Menu. It would be nice if this setting was editable after the initial creation of the entity. As an alternative, security role privileges could also be added for each Activity entity including Custom Activities.

This idea is Under Review for 6 years... This should be a simple thing to implement and it makes absolute no sense that the described behavior is not an Out-of-the-box behavior... If the business changes a requirement around this, it means I need to create a whole new entity, and change all business/custom logic applied to it, and delete/remove the old entity because a property on the entity is blocked... Makes no sense at all...

Please implement this. Forcing all activities to be in activity views is a very poor user experience.
