There's a need in the business to enable end-users to pick a category (i.e. Laptop) on Purchase Requisition and at the time when the requisition is turned into Purchase Order the procurement user must define the specific item code for the PO line (i.e. 1003 Surface Pro 7). Many times in the process the end-user creating the Purchase Requisition is not aware of the final item code to be used in the Purchase Order.
