Journal names should have reason code and reason comment field in order to define default reason code for the journal name which gets auto-populated when journals are created through manually, through data management or depreciation proposal or through any customization. This is very commonly used and very difficult to enter for bulk journals where there are 500+ lines. Also, personalization does not allow to move this field to the grid from the General tab.

Agree we would like to use this feature to code our assets according to accounting rules, this works nicely with the feature where you make it a mandatory field depending on what asset transaction type is selected however the only downfall is that it is not available on the main screen or easy to upload on the asset template. Shame as it is a really good feature.

Currently this is not in our roadmap; however, we are tracking it and if we get more feedback and votes, we may consider it in the future.
