Today it seems you can only relate the Skill code to a specific Service Item but if those are being auto generated and are down to the specific piece of equipment, it would be better to set the Skill Codes up against the Service Item Group.

You could then default them on the Service Item when it is created but you should be able to set the default at the Group level.
