Released item's can not be CREATED when electronic signature is enabled for item model group (when a record is updated) and the selected item model is having 'Approved vendor check method' set to 'Not allowed'.
It should be possible to create released products when using electronic signatures without getting any errors.
Work around is to create released product without a item model group having Approved vendor check method' set to 'Not allowed' and then afterwards - add the right item model group for the released product.
