Just as there is an option to have a mandatory starting and declaring amount, there should be a possibility to block sales Before entering a starting amount. The reason for this might be due to store personel might be forgetting to enter a starting amount and start Selling. When perform the end of day, they won't be able to remember the starting amount. This could be added as a parameter in the functional profile.

Thank you for the product suggestion! This idea is aligned with the product vision and we will love to provide this capability out of the box. However, we do not have a planned release timeline as of now and hence marking it as Declined (please read this as Postponed).
