Some Clients have ten digit Check numbers that begin with a number higher than 2147483647. Our scenario is that Branch locations are assigned a four digit value, all higher than 2147. When coupled with a six digit Check number, currently, a system message is returned stating " The value is not within range. Acceptable values are in the range 0 – 2147483647." Due to an EDT of int-32, Check numbers greater than 2147483637 cannot be created. Although our Developer could create the value in the BankChequeTable, when used on a Vendor payment journal, the same message mentioned above is returned.

An overlay solved this issue in AX2012, but currently no extension is available in D365. Without this extension an enhancement must be created to solve this issue.
