Find Feature in the Organizational Hierarchy Designer

Please provide a find/search feature in the hierarchy designer like there is in AX 2012 (we are on R1)! We have a massive account structure hierarchy and it is extremely time consuming to add new business units as we acquire new business or change our department structure, which is quite often.

The "hierarchy designer" screen only displays 3 or 6 stores at a time, (even if you have a very large monitor) and are displayed in order of creation


It is extremely tedious to search for a store with the [Previous, Next] arrows (we have just over 300 )


Please consider a Userfriendly solution among some examples:

  • Provide a sorting option { Create Date, Effective date, Alphabetical }
  • Propose a search option
  • Propose a Treeview
  • Propose a grid view: Flat view with possibility to filter each column and export to Excel
