Reason:
One of solutions is to help our industry to record and process transactional information in the system.
Due to the nature of our Industries (aged care), we have created new Ledger Journal Types to cater for different type of transactions. They are
- Care Fee Journal
- Subsidy Journal: to track government funding received for aged care residents.
- Bonds Journal: to bill proposed accommodation payment based on government legislation.
- Resident Funds Journal
- Subsidy reconciliation journal: to reconcile the government funding with the proposed subsidies.
Since enum Ledger Journal Type is not extensible, we are not able to upgrade the related functionalities for our solutions.
For this reason, we request extensibility for Base Enum Ledger Journal Type.

We believe provide extensibility to LedgerJournalType will definitely help solutions of other industries.
