Retail store close day SMS technology consumer notification

The option to future include SMS technology to notify consumers when retail store maybe closed and/or closed hours (e.g. holidays, company picnic, etc.).

We need some more details to understand your suggestion better. We are thinking of enabling the SMS communication to the customers, for things such as order status updates and 1:1 communication with the sales rep (Clienteling), however, your ask seems to be for generic store hours notification. Is the scenario that the customer would message a number requesting the store hours and would get automated response as SMS or the store would send a bulk broadcast to all customers about the special store hours e.g. during the current COVID-19 crises, thanksgiving holidays etc.?

Responding to the Retail portion since this was posted to the Retail forum.  Retail has been available in the on prem solution since April 2018.

Once you run pull/push jobs the jobs are left in the available state and after they are executed, it shows applied. This was a bug that was extremely low priority given the lack of customer request and general simple workaround to wait for the job to complete.  It has now been fixed and should be released soon.
