We don't think it would be appropriate to implement this suggestion.

As you suggest, if a booking is changed to In Progress, we can reasonably assume that the booking needs to move forward to show the start as the moment the booking was updated to In Progress. A booking cannot be In Progress in the future.

However, the same cannot be reasonably assumed in the reverse. If it is now, 10:00am and a booking was scheduled to start at 9:45am, when a schedule board user marks the booking as In Progress, perhaps they are simply doing it on behalf of the field resource who arrived on time but could not update their booking for whatever reason. In this case, it did start at 9:45am. A booking could have been actually begin before the moment it is being updated on the schedule board. From the schedule board, you can always change the time to the accurate time.

I hope this makes sense. Feel free to raise another idea if you think there are scenarios where this explanation does not make sense. If you do, please provide details.

Natively adding more to the Warehouse

OOTB warehouse is very bare. It would be nice to have a some native subgrids on warehouse showing related inventory & vice versus on the product record showing related warehouses and quantity.

BUG: Field Service JS library not being added to Opportunity Form Libraries

Time Entries Bug - Customer time entry forces time to "AM"

If entering an exact time in the Times Entries list (in desktop browser) i.e. modifying the time from the drop down list, the system forces the time "AM" and cannot be changed. This happens for both start and end times. Exact times are needed for client billing.

It should be possible to update the field "Service Product Type" on the product entity

If the field "Service Product Type" has been set on the product it cannot be updated any more. To change that value it is necessary to delete and recreate the product. As the existing product might already be related to different records, this is not an optimal behaviour.

In this case, unfortunately, we don't think it is appropriate to change our behavior to enable a product to be changed from one Field Service Product Type to another.

As you suggested, it could already be related to multiple other records. In such cases, we allow a WO Product to be related to Products of Field Service Product Types "Inventory" and "Non-Inventory" and a WO Service to types "Service." Further, between "Inventory" and "Non-Inventory" products, we create Product Inventory records which we maintain against the Product.

If we allowed this to be changed, there would be significant complexity to understand what was changes, what the previous values were, what the new value is, what changes should be made to existing data, and so on. Even if we attempted to handle all of this correctly, we would still likely not support it in the way that everyone would want.

For these reasons, we don't feel this is a behavioral change we want to make. We hope you understand and will continue submitting ideas in the future.

Move to different day

The option to 'Move bookings to different day' should respect the current filtered view and not move every booking. There should at least be the option to select all bookings in the current view OR every booking.

Thanks for sharing your idea and pls keep your idea coming.

We agree it will be nice to have the option to extend the feature when move booking to a different day, the assisted scheduling filter can be honored.  The original purpose of this feature is to deal with the situation that at the end of the day, you can move all the jobs you have booked today and move them all for other days quickly. For example, a snow storm has locked down the job site completely, you are one-click from moving all bookings to the next day.

Currently this is not prioritized in the roadmap. We are traicking the votes and feedback. If we can get more votes and feedback, we may consider it in the future.

Unfortunately, we don't think this idea is something we can support as it would likely be disruptive to current users, would require significant rework and reengineering, and is of questionable broader value given the limited votes and that this isn't an ask we've heard from other customers up to now.
