Often, especially in busy retail stores the switch between shifts needs to be quick. Also, the cashier should not spend much time counting money in front of the customers. Therefore a blind close is often a good option. In many cases, a controller wishes to close the shift, and make the count - but a controller could have responsibility for several stores. In todays solution you cannot make tender declaration and close shift from D365, and there is no good way for the same D365 user to have several CPOS attached without having to open incognito windows, switching google user etc. Therefore, it would be a good ide to have a list of blind closed shifts in D365, and the ability to make a tender declaration and close shifts across multiple stores.

Force closing the shift in case MPOS is logged off or locked. We have already implemented R&D from our side to close the shift when the MPOS is in running mode that allow us to close the shift but don't allow to close the shift in case of MPOS logged out or locked and we are getting error and exception at the time of invalid user credentials. Is there a way to implement an extension which allows to login on MPOS silently to close the shift? Also In Future, Is there any plan to introduce the functionality to close the shift based on recurrence job or automation for brand wise'. If the cashier forgot to close the shift and the MPOS is not running, then the system will automatically close the shift at the appropriate time that we will set on the configuration.

Absolute requirement! If a worker leaves for the day due to getting ill and they do not blind close their shift, a manager must be able to access and close the shift.

It should also be possible to perform a safe/bank drop after blind closing.

Absolutly needed. Then at multistore malls, having a single back-office PC is the most common, where the shift is closed and cash is counted. You DON'T count cash infront of the customers !
