The ability to "pin" important timeline notes/posts to the top of the timeline control.

It would be useful to be able to "pin" important timeline notes/posts to the top of a record's timeline control.

This is absolutely essential and would increase the value of the timeline considerably. Also collaboration on records would be enhance if we enable the possibility that multiple users pin records. You would highlight the most important records for all users. It was not requested from our customers yet, but one could think if the feature allows to pin multiple records.

My business users are requesting this functionality also. They use a text box instead so it won't get "lost" in the timeline.

This is really needed to keep important notes from being lost. There are often important account notes that need to be easily found by anyone opening a record.

I'm surprised this hasn't been implemented yet. I would also suggest to expand the pinning of records; i.e. once one or more records have been pinned, there should be a filter available to 'view pinned records only'.
